Located on the margin between the Giardini della Villa Reale and the Parco di Monza, the rustic courtyard of Cascina Bastia conserves the bucolic charm of the cascine (farmhouses) of the Park. This rural complex consists of three principal buildings in a U-shaped layout. To the north, the body of the building has a rectangular layout. It is arcaded and has a pillar structure in brick on the southern front and in masonry on the northern part. The western body of the courtyard, now used for the hire of bicycles and rickshaws, is also in red brick with wooden floors. The last building, to the south, contains private residences.
